Image Founding member's aim is to do the job for FORM's good causes using his own money and show the success before asking help from others. This has been accomplished. Although FORM is now 10 years old, the actual work started only in 2001 due to the beaurocracy in Myanmar. However as the reputation of FORM spreads some donations began to come in from Myanmar expats, friends, tourists as well as from Embassies in Yangon including British and Japanese Embassies in the form of grants. Lately FORM has attracted the attention of tourist industry.

Since 1997 the founder has donated over £160,000 to FORM and he is still contributing £10,000 per annum. Therefore, in practical terms, external donations directly go into FORM's projects.

Although FORM has achieved a visible success for others to see it is still in small scale. To have real impact to fight against global warming and its related problems, FORM needs a lot of funds.

Funding and tourism: "You can save lives by visiting Myanmar"

It is true. With improve funds from tourists, FORM can carry out extensive rural electrification. This well help midwives deliver babies without undue complications and death from snake bites can be avoided. And health clinics can be upgraded for better medical care, etc. This means saving life – lots of lives!

At present 9 major hotels in Yangon and one in Ngapali are helping FORM in fundraising. It is very likely that this kind of participation will spread to other hotels and tour operators.
